COMPOSER

For theatre, performance art, installations, film, tv, corporate, backing tracks and additional sound design for your project (bands, singer-songerwriter etc). With his unique edge, complex textures and beautifully dark touch, Dane can create something that will bring your production to life.

MUSICIAN

Dane is an electronic musician and performs using computers and a unique array of gestural controllers (Nintento Wii solo shown above in title picture). He has performed solo and with small and large mixed acoustic and electric ensembles. Give your ensemble the extra edge with live onstage electronics. Contracts are available for single and ongoing performances.

 

MUSIC DIRECTOR

When you need someone to coordinate the music and musicians into a cohesive power to produce the best possible sound and performance for your production. Dane specialises in electro-acoustic ensembles and is the Electronic Music Director for the award winning contemporary ensemble, DEEP BLUE ORCHESTRA.

 

PRODUCER

Music is about capturing and creating moments, and opening that window for others to share a piece of your world. Whether in the studio or on the stage, as a producer, Dane applies his unique aesthetic and hard work ethic to help you capture and create those moments to produce a sound that is as unique as the people behind it. Packages can be tailored for a variety of artists and budgets.

 

EDUCATOR

Dane coordinates and tutors electronic music ensembles at Queensland University of Technology. He has conducted touring workshops and inschools programs including "The Next Big Idea" week of intensive electro-acoustic ensemble workshops at Queensland Academy of Creative Industries. Contact to get your inschools/university electronic/electro-acoustic ensembles started soon!

Private and group tutoring for electronic production and performance is also available.

 

CONSULTANT

Through his experience as an award winning Audio Coordinator and Music Director, Dane can offer solutions and viable performance/production frameworks to help shape and acheive your vision.

Dane also offers consults to tertiary and secondary education establishments to help bring music education into the age of technology.
